Ah, nothing better than curling up an entire gloomy rainy Sunday enjoying a good book. Today I almost finished "the namesake" by Jhumpa Lahiri, a story of a first-generation Indian boy as he tries to cast off his parents' ways...

Actually it's pretty good. It's an easy read in the sense that the writing is well composed and it just flows. The only bit is that it's a little sad at some turns as the son pushes away from his family / culture. I saw that Lahiri won a pulitzer prize for those short stories. I look forward to reading them. Good to see you on here Alexis!
